Spring means Jam!

With the coming of April, the Metamora Grist Mill opens up, and the Grist Mill Slow Jam sprouts on scale. The first Sunday of the month from April through September musicians from all over the region gather to have a relaxed afternoon sharing tunes. This inclusive jam is built around the old, traditional songs that almost everyone knows. All levels of skill are welcome to participate.

The Grist Mill Jam takes place from 1 to 4 pm at the Metamora Grist Mill, located by the train tracks at the western edge of the business district, on Main Street. If it should happen to be inclement weather, the jam will move to the MPA Opry Barn at 19189 Pennington Rd (just continue west on Main St and it becomes Pennington Rd, so you're just moving about a half mile down the road).
